Ingredients for 12 Servings

    Lean ground pork
  • 1
    Onion, medium. Chopped
  • 1/4 cup
    Hoisin sauce
  • 6
    Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch knob
    Fresh ginger root, peeled and minced
  • 1 Tbs
    Red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbs
    Reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 3 ts
    Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 can (8oz)
    Sliced water chestnuts, drained and diced
  • 1 Tbs
    Sesame oil
  • Topping
  • 2
    Green onions, chopped
  • 12
    Boston lettuce leaves
  • Sesame seeds

  1. Cook and crumble the pork and onion in a large skillet until pork is no longer pink and onions are soft.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger then simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients and heat throughout
  3. Serve ¼ cup of the mixture in each lettuce cup. Top with green onions and sesame seeds.
